How to organise 'In Lieu of Flowers' donations to EPC
We thank you for your interest in organising an ‘in lieu of flowers’ or ‘in honour of’ donation to EPC for your loved one’s funeral or memorial service.
Here are some options you may like to consider:
1. In Memoriam Fundraising page: Create a personal fundraising memorial page in honour of your loved one. You can do this via our online donation page. Visit www.epcvic.org.au and click on the ‘Donate now’ button. Then click on the ‘Fundraise for this cause’ or ‘Create CrowdRaiser’ button. The link to this is easy to share.
2. Social Media Artwork: If you would like a personalised memorial image to use on social media simply contact fundraising@epcvic.org.au
3. Notice and/or Service Booklet: State in the funeral notice and/or in the Service Booklet that the family would like donations to Eastern Palliative Care in lieu of flowers. Your funeral director will help with the wording. You can accompany this with EPC’s website address www.epcvic.org.au and/or the QR Code below. You may also wish to add our logo – also below.
4. Funeral Celebrant: Ensure your Funeral Celebrant mentions this during the service and confirms how to make a donation.
5. Livestream: Ensure any livestream broadcast includes this information both via the Celebrant, EPC logo or words at the end with EPC’s email address - www.epcvic.org.au and/or QR Code.

EPC is registered as a not-for-profit organisation on Facebook. We can be selected as the receiving charity if you add a donate button to your facebook post or organise a personal fundraising event. Asking friends to donate in lieu of birthday presents is a popular choice.
