Eastern Palliative Care (EPC) is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers specialist home-based palliative care to clients and their families living within the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Recruitment, onboarding and training new volunteers
- Development of strategies to strengthen diversity of EPCs volunteer cohort
- Maintenance and oversight of volunteer management database (Better Impact) and preparation of relevant reports
- Coordination of volunteer engagement activities (forums events, training, communications)
- Leadership of volunteer teams as needed
- Supporting team members in the delivery of volunteer programs when required.
Our newest team member will have:
- Highly developed and relational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Highly developed competency with Microsoft Office programs (including Excel), database systems (ideally Better Impact), online training platforms.
- Experience developing and delivering training modules, both face to face and online.
- Experience managing end to end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in health, community, or education sector (or sustained work experience in one or more of these fields).
- At least 3 years of experience working with volunteers is preferred.
